Marketing Operations Specialist


Job Description :-

The Marketing Operations Specialist role is responsible for supporting the process coordination and delivery of marketing activities for the business. The primary focus of the role will be the support and execution of operational marketing processes including assisting the marketing operations process and marketing data analysis. The role holder will need to be a strong collaboration across business and marketing communities, well organised and able to communicate clearly, both verbally and written.

Roles & Responsibilities :-

  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM and other tools such as Salesforce, Yesware, Zoominfo etc) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.

  • Manage marketing database, ensuring an updated and clean database at all times.

  • Work on executing tasks on the marketing automation tool - such as sending emailers, lead tagging, and maintaining hygiene on all reporting .

  • Manage & monitor the overall marketing tech stack, SLAs and performance.

  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management

  • Assisting creation of marketing dashboards & reports for marketing and sales activities & present analysis and findings to a variety of audience.

  • Train and support marketing team with data analysis activities, leveraging to provide better marketing output.

  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal business stakeholders to ensure the marketing processes fully support the businesses.

  • Identify areas for improved process efficiency and cost reduction based on previous campaigns.

  • Coordinating with agencies and vendors on a daily basis and processing invoicing

  • Produce reports to map outcomes of marketing activities vs original objectives and KPIs

Candidate Requirements :-

  • B.E / B. Tech.with 4-6 years of work experience

  • Relevant operations experience, ideally gained within a professional service, consulting or B2B environment

  • A collaborative approach, able to work with, and to influence, colleagues at all levels within the company

  • Ability to quickly learn online tools for the delivery and monitoring of campaigns and CRM activity.

  • Knowledge of modern marketing & sales development solutions such as Salesforce, Marketo, Zoominfo, or similar tools would be an advantage

  • Understanding of market research techniques with hands on experience data analysis and statistics methods

  • A good working knowledge of the Microsoft package, Excel particularly

  • Working knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices

  • Must have worked on database maintenance and upkeep
